the bbc is reporting that in the colombian city of cucuta, an attacker, or attackers, shot and killed two colombian clowns in front of an audience of 20 children.

“pobrecitos,” my girl friend remarked after hearing the news. alex likes panamanian clowns, and enjoyed their antics during panama’s carneval.

sometimes i wonder how i can live with such a savage.

last year a clown called Pepe, was also shot dead in colombia. but if you’ve seen pepe’s act, you know he had it coming. normally, i’m not a fan of shooting clowns. i prefer dignified hangings. but it’s good to see colombia’s finally getting serious about ridding the country of its coarser elements.
