“we have received no notice the bill is in dispute.”
“two weeks ago, i talked with another annoying woman in your company, she said she’d sort it all out.”
“i have received no notice …”
“$700 is absurd, don’t you think? i can have hookers come to my house and take me round the world for that price, and still have money leftover for pizza and beer. i’m not going to pay this bill until it’s been adjusted. or you send hookers, and pizza. it’s your call.”
“i don’t appreciate your sarcasm mr c.”
“you work in collections, and you’re put off by sarcasm?”
“the charges you dispute are with mci and have nothing to do with us.”
“of course they do, you’re the one harassing me at 9 am with your cunty tones. fuck, i haven’t even had my coffee yet. it’s inhuman.”
“mr c, if you don’t make arrangements to pay me now you will be shut off.”
“ah well, it’s just a fucking phone. not a beer tap. ”
“goodbye mr c, have a nice day.”
it must have killed her to wish me a nice day. they never cut me off, nor did verizon send hookers and pizza. a week later someone called to say they were giving me a $550 credit on the bill. i paid, ported my phone to wirelss the following week. and proceeded to rack up another $200 in phone sex calls to panama.
