Hey!…. I just rolled into the country 2 days ago… been out a few times… and I have YET to drink ONE 50 cent beer!…the lowest Ive paid for beer has been 1.25 so far….. avg price is between 2.50 and 4 bucks…. thats no different from the states!… SO…. whats the deal am I going to the wrong spots…? I thought it was gonna be 50 cents most places I went….Did you guys have some big hike in prices just before I got here?? Also… wheres all the hookers and strip joints???? Ive only seen one strip joint call cotton club and they wanted 20 bucks just to get In!… I dont even pay that in the states to walk into a strip joint….all I have to do is buy a drink or two.. about 8 bucks total…. YOu know… I aint finding panama so cheap…. So I ask again… am I in the wrong part of town….. I'm at a place called tower house hotel…not far from panama hotel…. any advice?… where should I be and who should I contact … to learn about where to go and what to do? HELP!!

yeahdogg…you definitely did NOT do your homework before coming to Panama. FIRST…the gringo joints wont feature 50 cent beers. You have to go to local panamanian five bars for that…which can be interesting if you want to know locals and practice espanol. gringo friendly and cheaper beers can be had at La terazza up the street from veneto. many gringos there can give you more inside scoops on where to sin.
most recommended strip club…miami club in "el dorado"…5 minute taxi ride from the veneto. "golden time" near there is best quality MP in town.

i am in complete agreement about golden time. they parade 15 beautiful colombian girls in front of you and you pick one. she takes you to a room for an hour. at the time i went (3yr ago) it was $84.
you can also pick up girls at la bodeguita on calle uruguay. it's a disco. the palace is a strip joint near the executive hotel. the girls are beautiful, but i don't know anything about pricing.
