When I first moved here and was waiting for my cable modem, I would go to the NYBC daily and do my work. They never seemed to mind that I'd sit there for 3 hours every morning, though of course I are, drank coffee and tipped fairly well. I love this place. Something like 15 different kinds of bagels and another 15 or 20 toppings.. plus breakfast bagels (eggs, ham, whatever) and bagels for lunch, etc. The coffee is wonderful. They have at least 6 different kinds in pressure pots waiting for you, and it's an endless cup. They also have a bulletin board where you can find services and entertainment. Free Wi-Fi!
