puerto limon costa rica - the bbc is reporting three armed muggers tried to hold up a tour bus filled with american senior citizens. one of the retirees managed to get a gunmen in a headlock and kill him. no charges were filed by costa rican authorities.

you won’t find this kind of nonsense going on in panama. we simply poison our senior citizens before they can cause any trouble.

however, i did have a similar experience last year in san jose costa rica. i was downtown, right in front of “the news cafe,” when an old man stepped out of an alcove brandishing a colostomy bag.

i can laugh about now. but at the time i was really scared.

last year a clown called Pepe, was also shot dead in colombia. but if you’ve seen pepe’s act, you know he had it coming. normally, i’m not a fan of shooting clowns. i prefer dignified hangings. but it’s good to see colombia’s finally getting serious about ridding the country of its coarser elements.
